The much anticipated Planty FDC Catalogue on 855 Baseball First Day Covers has been in production for over 8 years.

FDC Publishing Co. has published a special pre-release AFDCS edition of this catalogue. This catalogue is available in a limited printing of only 100 copies. It debuted at Americover on August 4th.  This special edition is available only from the AFDCS. Currently, there are 19 copies left.

The standard edition of this catalogue will not be available until late this year.

This pre-release edition has over 1550 Baseball 855 FDCS, pictured, priced, and numbered.  Identifications are provided where known. Over 1300 of the listing are new, never catalogued before 855 first day covers. Over $449,000 baseball FDCs in market value are catalogued.

At 215 pages, the catalogue is twice the size of any of the volumes of the Planty Encyclopedia.  It is durable wire coil bound and is printed on premium 70lb paper.  For ease of FDC lookup, a cachet maker index is provided in back of the catalogue.
